Climbing skills score me a Reborn Cyber

After picking up Manga She Spawn & Interlink at one of my Meijer (they didn't have Cyber or She Spawn) I decided to check another Meijer for Cyber Spawn Reborn. Alas, it pretty much had the same selection as the other store. In both cases it looked like the Reborn line was just thrown in whereever it could fit. Seems they didn't have any dedicated pegs for them resulting in a cluster fuck of a display! (I'm guessing Cyber Spawn is being shortpacked?)

Well anyhoo, at the second store I looked up to the top shelf and I spy a small clamshell. Just enough was showing to reveal the white tip of one of Cyber's sharp pointy protrusions. Somebody was stashing him! Okay, being at the short end of the vertical scale, you would think that fate had dealt me what seemed to be a cruel card. You would have thought wrong! Little does fate know that I can climb like a motherfucker! Cyber Spawn doesn't have a clue what hit him even as he's being stashed in the wifey's cart of groceries!

Now the confrontation with the wifey at the checkout counter was another adventure... [img]wink.gif[/img]

Everyplace that I have seen Reborn, any fig other than Mandarin and Raven Knight was being stashed - you would almost think that they were really popular figures wouldn't you?

The funny thing is Andy... I know you, but reading this story suddenly shrunk you to Wizard of OZ size in my brain....

I'm picturing you and Kramer's friend from Seinfeld setting up a circus teeter totter so one of you could be catapulted to the top shelf. [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
